Peer Learning - Structure of Matter 1

Starting 2023-24, to stimulate the students' active involvement, which improves understanding, we introduce peer learning, and invite all students to get involved. A self-organized group of 3 students will

• collect one/two problems
• meet to evaluate their solutions
• discuss the group's solutions with the professors (Manini and/or Di Vece) privately
• illustrate the problem and its solution to their peers at the beginning of an exercise lecture approximately one week after collecting the problem.

Either professor attends this peer-learning moment. He is not supposed to intervene, unless the group runs into severe difficulties, e.g. with complicate questions from the class.

This peer-learning activity is recommended to all, but not compulsory. The students' performance in the final exam is unaffected by this activity.

An online table (access restricted to registered students) is available to plan groups for the individual online lectures.
